ABOUT US

Restore A Sense of I Can (RSC) is a non-profit organization working, in part, on the development and support of technology clubs in schools, tertiary institutions and communities throughout the Caribbean. RSC is the official tech partner for the Caribbean Association of Principals of Secondary Schools (CAPSS).


RSC’s model is based on public and private sector partnerships using technology to achieve common goals. The vision is to have a common digital education community supporting each other’s goals, enabling greater individual achievement with existing resources.

To date, RSC has participated in activities in Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts and Nevis, Barbados, Jamaica, Belize, Bahamas and Costa Rica. RSC’s short-term plan is to establish clubs across the region through collaboration with CAPSS. Our vision is to have local clubs in these countries.

The major objectives of the formation of the RSC Tech Club include the following:

  • To promote awareness and develop functionality of practical technology activities including Animation, Apps/ Web and Games development, Coding, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, IOT, Social Media, Digital Media

  • To alleviate real world issues of environment, crime and health using the capacity developed

  • To reduce digital, economic or gender divides.

  • To promote awareness of eWaste and use a recycle/reuse model to build hardware capacity in institutions and organizations that need it

  • To promote awareness on climate issues and provide support for carbon zero initiatives

  • To facilitate access and support from other organizations to the technology clubs

  • To create awareness on cyber security and safe digital practice for students.

  • To develop eSports and responsible digital gaming.

  • To assist students in academia using technology and digital content

  • To facilitate the distribution of content and/ or the collection of data at a micro level focusing on climate change

  • To facilitate the development of students’ leadership skills and social responsibility

  • To offer tech support to other NGOs and humanitarian organisations, creating opportunities for volunteerism
